Our youngest (mid elementary school) will only use these respirators. Very breathable and fits small faces really well. When our kid was smaller, we would knot the elastics to get them to fit a little tighter. We no longer have to do that. The nose piece is very thin, making it very easy for a kid to have it conform to his / her nose. That's a plus. The negative to this is that with repeated donning and doffing (like at indoor school lunch) the metal can twist up or fatigue and fail. So we also send extras.
