About us

About us

We're glad you found us! We're Andrew, Natasha, & Scott from Orangeville, Ontario.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our goal has been simple: to provide higher quality Canadian masks to all Canadians - including those who can't afford them.

For decades we've known that high quality respirator masks are one of the keys to stopping respiratory pandemics. Faced with the emergence of SARS-CoV2 in early 2020 and the domestic shortage of respirator masks that ensued, we redirected our engineering and product development talents to bring better masks to market under the new storefront Canada Strong Masks.

In 2020 we developed a Canadian-made filter for cloth masks, and helped bring the first Canadian-made flat-fold respirator to market. In 2021 we co-developed the first Canadian-made kids respirator. In 2022 we provided Canadians with the most breathable KN95 available to-date. In 2023 we helped launch the first CSA certified Canadian respirator to meet the strict 100Pa breathability performance requirement.

To this day we continue to supply better masks to Canadians, and give back for every sale. We've donated over $420,000 in masks and monetary donations through our distribution partner Food Banks Canada. For every order placed now, we sponsor two meals with Food Banks Canada.

Masks are a great tool to help us work, travel, and play more safely.

So let's stay strong together! We invite you to wear a Canadian Respirator mask, and take action to improve ventilation and filtration in your indoor spaces.

Canada Strong Masks

How it started

Faced with the emergence of SARS-CoV2 in early 2020 and the domestic shortage of respirator masks that ensued, we developed a Canadian-made filter for cloth masks, and helped bring the first Canadian-made flat-fold respirator to market.

Comfortable and breathable respirators

1st Canadian-made kids respirator

In 2021, we co-developed the first Canadian-made kids respirator. With kids resuming in-person attendance in school, options for well-fitting respirator masks were not readily available. We wanted to offer the same quality and provide a more comfortable alternative to face a full day of learning, often in poorly ventilated classrooms.

Earloop Convenience with N95 Protection

In 2023, we helped launch the first CSA certified Canadian respirator to meet the strict 100Pa breathability performance requirement.

The new Q100 respirator mask offers earloop convenience with N95 protection. These healthcare respirators feature a tight fit, >95% filtration, NIOSH/CSA healthcare certification, and Level 3 fluid resistance (160mmHg).

Innovative solutions

Looking ahead

We launched a recycling program in 2023, and have been sourcing eco-friendly alternatives to help divert tonnes of plastic PPE waste from our landfills.

While masks have been our focus to get us through an unprecedent pandemic, we are always on the lookout for innovative, unique and Canadian-made products.
